Kathy M. Weidenboerner, CAPS, NCIDQ

A Certified Aging in Place Specialist and nationally Certified Interior Designer, Kathy has been a practicing professional designer and professor of Interior Architecture and Design at Mercyhurst University since 1985.

Kathy’s commitment to creating living and working spaces that enhance her clients’ wellbeing is her passion and her mission.

A native of western New York, Kathy graduated from Mercyhurst University where she earned a B.S. degree in Interior Design with a minor in Business Administration. She continued her education at Gannon University, earning a M.Ed. in Environmental
Science. A life-long learner, Kathy further trained in eastern design philosophies to become a Certified Feng Shui Consultant.

Kathy launched See Change Design, LLC in 2017 to help individuals live and work comfortably and safely whatever their needs may be. Her client centered focus has enabled her to design creative and functional homes and offices for countless clients. She is excited to create environments that preserve and support human dignity and celebrate her client’s unique needs and joys in life.
